Website tools for the jobs between the big jobs

Building or running a website is mostly small tasks. An image needs to be the right shape. A logo has to go from SVG to PNG for an email signature. A page needs a title that fits in Google. These website tools each do one of those tasks and give you something you can use straight away: a number, a file or a block of code to paste.

We build WordPress sites for a living, so these are the tools we reach for ourselves:

  • Before you upload an image. Check the shape with the aspect ratio calculator, then shrink the file with the PNG to WebP converter. Smaller images are one of the simplest ways to make a page load faster.
  • When a platform will not take an SVG. The SVG to PNG converter gives you a sharp PNG at any size, with the background kept transparent.
  • Before you publish a page. Write the title and description in the meta tag generator and see how the result is likely to look in Google.
  • When you want search engines to understand a page. The schema markup generator writes the JSON-LD for you.
  • When you set up a new WordPress site. The WordPress robots.txt generator gives you rules that do not block the files Google needs to render your pages.

Your files and text stay with you

Every tool here runs in your browser. Images are converted on your own device and are not uploaded to our server. The text you type into a generator is not saved or sent anywhere. Close the tab and it is gone.

Do these work with WordPress?

Yes, and with any other site. The output is standard: PNG and WebP images, HTML meta tags, JSON-LD and a plain robots.txt file. WordPress accepts WebP uploads and has done since version 5.8. If you use an SEO plugin such as Rank Math or Yoast, type the title and description from the meta tag generator into the plugin fields, and let the plugin handle the tags it already writes.

Website tools questions

Are these website tools free?

Yes. Every tool on this page is free to use as often as you like, with no account and no trial.

Are my images uploaded to your server?

No. The image converters work inside your browser on your own device. The file is read, converted and handed back to you without leaving your computer or phone.

Can I use the output on a WordPress site?

Yes. The images, meta tags, JSON-LD and robots.txt these tools produce are standard formats that WordPress and every other platform accept.

Do I still need an SEO plugin?

For most WordPress sites, yes. A plugin writes meta tags, schema and a sitemap for every page automatically. These tools help you write good titles and descriptions, check one page by hand or add markup the plugin does not cover.
